Emily is a Sr. Manager for Consumer Product Marketing at Cox. She began as a board intern through Leadership Tulsa in 2018, and became a member of the TAPC board later that year. Emily is passionate about improving the lives of Oklahomans. Her hobbies include serving the community, gardening, singing on road trips, trying new foods, and spending time with her family.
Lora is the Chief Financial Officer at Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA). She is a CPA and has an MBA from Oklahoma State University. Lora has 25 years of experience in financial management with a primary focus in nonprofit and healthcare leadership. She enjoys watching or playing sports, travel and reading. Lora joined the board in 2019.
Laura Bullock is a retired Special Educator. During her 27-year career, Laura worked with & advocated for children in Pre-K through 12th grade.
Laura is delighted to be working with Fostering Connections, which allows her to continue supporting foster children of all ages and their foster families.
Laura has two adult children of her own, Joe and Molly. She enjoys her active lifestyle which includes lots of time outdoors: gardening, walking her friend, Carl, riding her bike, rollerblading, & climbing.
Laura is a member of Happy Herbivores & Vegetarian Society of Tulsa. She enjoys fixing & eating plant-based, animal friendly recipes for family & friends. Laura was one of the organizers for Tulsa’s first VegFest in May 2019, and is already working on Tulsa VegFest 2020.
Dr. Beeson was born & raised in Tulsa, attended Jenks High School, graduated college from the University of Oklahoma, attended medical school at ATSU in Missouri & Phoenix, and completed her pediatrics residency at Oklahoma State University. She is currently in fellowship training in the field of Child Abuse Pediatrics through the University of Oklahoma.
She joined the board after benefiting from the resource center while fostering & adopting two of her daughters. She is passionate about advocating for under-served children in Oklahoma. In her free time she enjoys running marathons, playing her oboe, and traveling with her husband & their three daughters.
My name is Amanda Lyles. I am a stay at home homeschooling foster mom. My husband of 16 years, Jeff, and I have three sons. Our family has cared for 43 Tulsa County children in DHS custody through traditional and emergency foster care. In our free time we enjoy watching Marvel movies, riding bikes, hiking, playing board games, and adventuring in our travel trailer.
Phuong graduated from the University of Tulsa with an MBA and a Master of Accountancy. She is currently an Assurance Senior at HoganTaylor, LLP, a regional CPAs and Advisory firm. Whenever she has time, Phuong is either cooking, traveling, or attempting home improvement projects. She joined the board in 2019.
Rob has worked for OKDHS Child Welfare for almost 12 years, and counting. During this time, he has experience in almost every division and has been in Foster Care and Adoptions for 5 years. Rob holds an MSW from the University of Oklahoma and an undergraduate from Oklahoma State University. He has worked closely with several community partners in the Tulsa community.
Taylor Scott graduated from the University of Tulsa with Bachelors in both Music and Psychology, as well as a minor in Non-Profit Management. He is currently the Operations Manager for Emergency Infant Services. He has made it his mission to advocate for and serve local populations and children in need. His hobbies include running, cycling and exploring Oklahoma.
