MOBILE RESOURCE CONNECTIONS
Like our brick-and-mortar Foster Family Resource Center (FFRC), our Mobile Foster Family Resource Center (mFFRC) is designed to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of children in foster care. The mFFRC is a first-year project funded by an Innovation Grant from Tulsa Area United Way.
The mFFRC truck will visit rural Tulsa county as well as Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties. Currently approximately 1,900 children in foster care in these areas do not have access to free items to fulfill basic needs such as: clothes, shoes, beds, car seats, strollers, hygiene products, etc.
The mFFRC will have regularly scheduled meeting times and locations available for booking. Foster families can reserve a meeting and register their current needs prior to the meet day. Additional information will be posted upon launch!
