Margaret joins the Fostering Connections team with over 20 years of experience, 10 specifically in the nonprofit sector. Margaret is a transplant to Tulsa and started volunteering as a way to find a connection to her community.
Margaret is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA. She and her husband completed their family with the adoption of their daughter Lilly. Margaret is excited and honored to join the Fostering Connections team and help the children and youth of Oklahoma feel empowered and valued.
Amy Jenson was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She studied at the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) where she met her husband. She moved to Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in multimedia journalism.
She spent nearly a decade working in TV news, but dipped her toes in the nonprofit world along the way, including with Fostering Connections. She saw the needs in our community and wanted to use her background skills to help make an impact on our foster families.
Amy served as our mobile coordinator for a year and a half and has now stepped into a new role as our community engagement director.
